The building is beautiful inside and out. The decor showed attention to detail. We really enjoyed staying in black cherry ( the name of our room) The road noise was mildly distracting. Not bad but a factor.

Very interesting building, very convenient location for our visit, check in/out was super easy, rooms felt clean and taken care of. We really appreciated the privacy and quiet of Kate’s Room.

As travelers, we were very impressed with the Inn! The hospitality, furnishings, comfort of beds and kindness of the property management was above and beyond. We absolutely loved the Inn. We have nothing to say but accolades. The town itself is in the midst of resurgence, so do not expect much. But there are decent restaurants within walking and Knobles is 15 minutes away. Thank you! We traveled with our 8 yr old triplet grandchildren and they loved it so much they didn't want to leave! All was excellent! Nothing we can say would deter people from staying at such a magnificent Inn. The internet photos does not serve it justice!

A classic set of houses/buildings from the 1860s, one half of which was a YWCA. Kept to period with modern amenities. A great deal of charm and atmosphere. If you don’t do stairs, they do have other rooms. I had no problem, but do others are aware when booking. Typical of this vintage.

The host was very friendly and came to greet us even though it is self check in. She gave us a tour. The place is huge! Our room had two queen/full beds and a day bed which was perfect for my family of four. There was a kitchen, living and dining room. It was really great. I wish we needed to stay for more days. It was close to Knoebels which is why we chose it. The area it is in was a little sketchy looking to us, but we parked in the back and it was perfectly fine.

Excellent selection of breakfast items and coffee choices. Loved the coffee maker in the room too. A nice touch was the new patio furniture. The flowers out back were lovely. Coming back to the B&B is like coming home. The Bittersweet room is beautifully decorated, as is the whole house. It was nice seeing Sharon again too

This Victorian B&B is beautiful! A true jewel in the city of Shamokin. Period furnishings are in great shape as are the facilities. Clean and comfortable. Near Knoebels Amusement Park is a definite plus. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
