This property is a hidden gem! My jaw dropped when we walked in. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! The history combined with the decor and wonderful staff made our stay so memorable.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The beautifully restored Victorian-era house is welcoming and comfortable. Our room (Kate's Room) was spacious and immaculate. Various old photographs on display provide an intriguing glimpse of Shamokin's surprisingly rich history. We highly recommend Shamokin B&B!

Everything was just perfect, the look and feel was incredible!
First thing you do after you have arrived, is to walk through this amazing house which is very clean and in a perfectly maintained condition! The old furniture and decorations bring you back in time!
Best thing is, that you can even walk through the rooms which are not booked... Every room is different!
Much better and totally worth it than any franchise hotel!

Our stay here was so much more than expected. I am just upset that we only needed to stay for one night. The place is super clean and gloriously beautiful. Just exploring the interior of the Bed & Breakfast was fascinating. Several places to eat within walking distance. If you arrive without a car, just know that taxi, Lyft and Uber are non-existant.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed meeting the property manager and learning about the history of the house. A really cool spot to stay in and very affordable.

Shamokin Bed & Breakfast is housed in a beautifully restored Victorian mansion. The room we stayed in, The Bittersweet Room, was spacious and quiet, with high ceilings, enormous wardrobes, and an immaculately clean bathroom. The large bed was very comfortable, and there was a comfortable pull-out sofa for my daughter. Even the book selection in the room was excellent. Packaged baked goods and Keurig pods were provided for breakfast. The property manager was very friendly and invited me and my daughter to explore the property.

The bed and breakfast is historic and beautiful and well maintained. Directions were easy to follow and the staff was amazing. There were a lot of stairs, not a big deal to us but could be to someone else

This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean. The teenagers. We’re even excited about the decor and the rooms, so that’s saying something!
